A micro urban architecture for play, sport, and social interaction. FUNBOX is a mini skate ramp conceived as a hybrid urban object, capable of bringing together sport, design, and public space. More than a structure for tricks, it is an open platform designed to be experienced by skaters and non-skaters alike, becoming a place for gathering, pausing, and observing.Compact in size yet strong in identity, FUNBOX is designed for squares and public spaces, but it does not stop at the outdoors. Thanks to its reduced scale, it can also be placed inside a store, in a showroom, or on the terrace of a corporate or office building, transforming even the most unexpected spaces into places for play and interaction. FUNBOX adapts, discreetly inhabits its surroundings, and brings skate culture where you wouldn’t normally expect it. The project challenges the traditional idea of a skatepark: FUNBOX is accessible, inclusive, and immediate, conceived to activate urban space through a simple and direct gesture. An invitation to movement, play, and sociality, where skateboarding becomes both language and a pretext for being together. FUNBOX is not just a ramp, but an urban device that connects body, city, and community.
