The Equinox Series is a limited collection of three functional art works, a side table and two consoles, exploring contemporary Egyptian identity through material and form. In Egypt, civilizations did not replace one another but overlapped, negotiated, and endured. Architecture absorbed new languages while retaining memory, allowing meaning to accumulate through repetition, adaptation, and survival. Equinox translates this layered continuity into a contemporary balance of mass, proportion, and restraint. Heritage is not illustrated, but felt through stillness, precision, and the presence of natural materials. Marble, oak, Egyptian wheat straw, and brass enter into dialogue, where light and shadow, weight and fragility coexist. Each work expresses this equilibrium in a distinct way, united by a shared devotion to material honesty and quiet proportion. The series is produced in a limited edition, each piece individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
