Portraits is a photographic exhibition thatconnects the iconic products of some of the most important Italian brands with the gaze of photographer Walter Gumiero. The images offer different interpretations — ironic, light, classical — juxtaposing objects and subjects in innovative ways through the photographic lens. The exhibition highlights products united by extraordinary design, even though they were created by different designers and in different periods. Real objects accompany the photographs, creating a dialogue between image and material.
The protagonists are: Baxter with Paola Navone, B&B Italia with Gaetano Pesce, Cappellini with Jasper Morrison, Desalto with Krusin, Flexform with Antonio Citterio, Kartell with Laviani, Living Divani with Piero Lissoni, Molteni with Gio Ponti, Moroso with Patricia Urquiola, Porro with Front, Riva 1920 with Renzo Piano.
