Keep Your Bubble is an immersive spatial installation created from recycled hot-air balloon envelopes, transformed into large-scale, soft architectural forms. Horizontally positioned and interconnected balloons are suspended within the space and anchored to the ceiling, stretching across the full height of the venue. Visitors enter the installation through a single burner opening in the first balloon and move freely inside the connected interior, experiencing the work from within rather than as external observers. The project explores the relationship between personal and collective space through physical presence and movement. While each balloon suggests an individual, enclosed environment, the interior structure allows continuous flow and shared experience. By repurposing a material originally designed for flight, the installation addresses transformation, reuse, and the shifting meaning of objects once removed from their original function. Originally presented in Bratislava, Keep Your Bubble is adapted for Milan Design Week to respond to the architectural qualities of the exhibition space. Positioned at the intersection of visual art, design, and spatial experience, the project offers an accessible, bodily encounter that invites reflection on proximity, boundaries, and coexistence in a shared environment.
