An Ever-Evolving Creative Organism

Designer

Viktor Jondal e Irene Jondal

The studio presents a curated selection of prototypes and conceptual explorations, united by a material-driven and process-oriented approach. The Rope Chair originates from the observation of rope’s organic nature, treated as a “living” element with its own inherent tension and movement. The project is developed through a sustainable lens, using rope made from recycled fishing nets and a prototype in MDF derived from forestry byproducts; a tubular steel production version is currently in development.

The Totem Sculpture Shelf reinterprets the conventional shelf as a modular sculptural element. Based on a repeated square unit, it can expand or contract to adapt to different spaces, functioning both as storage and as a spatial divider. Its proportions are optimized to minimize waste, using materials sourced from surplus and finished with natural dyes.

The Fly! Chair, originally conceived in the early 2000s, has been updated with high-quality Kvadrat textiles and a pressure-molded plywood structure composed of three elements, now ready for contemporary production.

The Tabletop Collection is produced locally in the Stockholm studio through additive manufacturing, enabling made-to-order pieces in plant-based thermoplastic polymers, each one unique.

The Rorschach Candelabra offers an open-ended form that invites personal interpretation, encouraging viewers to project their own meanings onto its suggestive geometry.

The Lifting Forms vase is composed of repeated modules that merge into a single cohesive shape, defined by an upward momentum and a strong sculptural presence.

The Liquorice Vase shifts in perception depending on light and viewpoint, transitioning from deep dark tones to metallic reflections while maintaining a coherent yet dynamic form.
