Geometry of Light — INDIGO Design Collection
Designer
Satoshi Kan
The exhibition explores the relationship between matter, space and perception through an immersive experience that moves between physical elements and virtual space. As they move through the space, visitors encounter environments that change according to different design concepts. Within the VR experience, they traverse spatial worlds generated by these concepts, beyond the limits of the physical world. By merging the real and virtual environments, the exhibition crosses the tangible and the intangible, transforming design beyond vision and function into something that is experienced as perception itself. Rooted in the philosophy that ‘Design is the geometry of consciousness’, INDIGO explores the relationship between perception and consciousness through invisible principles. Furniture is redefined not as a mere functional object, but as a medium that shapes perception and re-examines the relationship between human consciousness and space.
