FOOD DESIGN STORIES
ARIA is conceived as a sensory experiment and the “invisible” protagonist of this edition. Aria (air) as an element that connects all possible worlds - the physical and the conceptual, the project and the tangible, the invisible and the usable, which materialise through design: white, fresh, light, innovative.
The 2026 collective exhibition of FDS will feature a selection of objects united by visual and material lightness in production, also including digital works: everything converges into a “cloud-like” display, where each piece tells the story of a sustainable and lightweight future, inviting us to breathe “new” air. FOOD DESIGN STORIES, curated by Caterina Misuraca and Sandra Faggiano, reaffirms itself as an ecosystem of independent designers, a space for listening and connection. A collective narrative where design becomes a critical tool, a cultural act, and a conscious practice.
Air as an immaterial substance that makes growth, transformation and fermentation possible. Air as a space of balance between what we take and what we give back.
