The Z Series (Hybrid Skin) project stems from a structural challenge: eliminating the superfluous to reveal the essential. Instead of traditional fastening systems, the project explores unprecedented couplings and interlocking joints between distinct materials. It is a game of metamorphosis: two-dimensional aluminum sheets, through precise folding, transform into complex volumes, becoming a 'hybrid skin' that embraces the supporting structure. The system is not limited to a single object but evolves into a scalable family of furniture, from the console to the Z Chair. Here, material research becomes total undressing: the transparent shell acts as a garment that lays bare the tubular structure, where every curve and joint becomes a narrative. Nothing is hidden. Every element is decodable by the user in a process of continuous discovery. The object reveals its construction secret, transforming matter into a playground of form and logic where resolved complexity invites exploration.
