Super<\/span>City<\/b> was the project curated by Giulio Cappellini that transformed Superstudio Maxi into an ideal neighbourhood of the future. Architecture, design, art and photography intertwined in an open space, where domestic and outdoor settings took shape through graphic elements and visual interventions, as if in a three-dimensional comic strip. Among the main exhibitions, <\/span>\u201cWhen Design Becomes Art\u201d explored the boundary between design and art, whilst <\/span>\u201cPortraits \u2013 photography | design\u201d explored the human side of design through a series of portraits dedicated to leading figures in the contemporary design scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

Group exhibitions, solo shows and installations interacted with one another to create a fluid, multi-sensory experience, enriched by workshops and cultural events such as the talk organised in collaboration with ICFF on the future of urban space. SuperCity<\/strong> offered a total immersion in the city of the future, combining imagination, design and interaction in a single dynamic experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

A REFLECTION ON THE FUTURE OF LIVING AND SHARED SPACE<\/h3>\n <\/div>\r\n

At Superstudio Maxi the boundaries between design, art and architecture dissolved into a spectacular setting. The venue took the form of a small, ideal neighbourhood, featuring domestic and outdoor spaces, immersive installations and group exhibitions. Each area was designed to evoke different functions and atmospheres: furnishings, textiles, lighting and scenography interacted with one another, creating continuous visual and sensory pathways. Iconic furnishings, light installations and temporary architectural structures transformed the space into a shared experience that invited reflection on the future of living, the relationship between the individual and the community, and the quality of urban space.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\n\n\r\n
